KELP was started in 2008
after Kelp horns were sold successfully at a fete at Michael Oak school, Claremont to raise school funds.
Adam has developed the
idea further and set up a small factory at his home in Zeekoevlei employing Wahabi and Christopher.
Adam is overseeing and driving the project and is helped by his
brother Michael with the running of things.

The ambition is to
develop and grow the project into a profitable venture which will provide opportunities for
employment, social upliftment and environmental education.
Techniques of pattern
and design have been chosen to suit entry level and skilled painters.
Beginners can get started immediately with simple design work and those with more experience
can step into a more demanding role.
